There are very few stories that media carries where a woman tortures or kills her husband..
But this is is one such story... and again the way the story is propagated... all blame has been put on husband for getting back home after a few drinks...

| Nagaraj (22), a resident of Kamalanagar, who sustained burn injuries is battling for life in Victoria Hospital. Basaveshwarnagar police said Nagaraj, a painter, married Vedavati (20) just two months ago. Nagaraj was an alcoholic and there used to be frequent quarrels between the couple over this. On Monday, Nagaraj returned home in an inebriated state and an argument ensued. Irked by this, Vedavati doused him with kerosene, set him ablaze and fled from the house. A few neighbours rushed inside and shifted him to the hospital. | |
